a toast!

Thanks to all the holiday breads I made I have branched out into white bread (the homemade kind has so much more "ooomph" and flavor to it), bacon bread, herb bread and french bread. I am thinking of only having homemade bread in my home from now on-time will tell.
I found a recipe for making butter. Yes, butter. I am going to make my own butter and spread it on my own homemade bread and have the best frickin' toast the world has ever seen.

Homemade bread is so yummy!

There is a bakery in Berkeley called the Cheese Board that sticks big hunks of cheese and onion in their bread. I think they season it with turmeric and dill. So damn good! I don't eat bread anymore, (it makes me feel crappy) but if I dared, that's the bread I would eat.

Of course I will share! I'm waiting for pay day to get some good heavy cream.

I'll have to have some mixture of hydrogenated shortening, sugar and cocoa on hand for Christine though :D

Can't help myself, this is the nutritionist talking- would coconut oil work instead of the hydrogenated stuff? Coconut oil is solid at room temperature, and good for you too, instead of screwing up your hormones (wanna feel depressed, wicked pms, hypoglycemic, tired, fat, cardiovascular disease etc...)

Hahahaha....believe me both Bianca and I have tried. Our dear friend isn't that big a fan of "real" food.
