Eating well is the best revenge

Last time I was at Mitsuwa, I stocked up on Kewpie Mayonnaise and Okonomiyaki Sauce to cook Okonomiyaki for my now ex-boyfriend. Then he dumped my ass. So I made Okonomiyaki for myself! I think it's officially a three-way tie between Kewpie Mayo, Okonomiyaki Sauce and Anger for the best Okonomiyaki topping.

I dunno which looks tastier, the okonomiyaki or the background ;D

Ohmygogohmygodohmygod! Next you're going to tell me you can make those nummy roasted garlic shoots the Okonomiyaki guy Lola and Ron took me to had.

I'm so excited I'm not even concerned about whether or not the above was grammatically correct.

Missa- It's superduper easy. Per 2 okonomiyake- 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of flour, scant 1/4 cup of water. Mix for the batter, then throw in chopped, cooked meat (I like shrimp and chicken, or you can place thinly sliced beef or pork under the pancake when cooking), chopped cabbage, green onions, konyaku, sesame, whatever. Cook on a skillet on medium heat 3-5 minutes on each side. top w. mayo and okono sauce. that's my single girl recipe, you can jack up quantities for more.

Val- I'll make you some tomorrow night. No garlic shoots unfortunately.

I just bought eggs. I'll have to try it with rice flour, minus the sauces (yes, I'm sure the sauce is half the point of this dish. It is my duty to mess up authentic Japanese food by converting to my dietary needs.)
